Constituent Engagement is a dynamic within society.
SpectrumEngagement is essential for inclusive Constituent Engagement. Or maybe it is the other way around. Constituent Engagement is essential of SpectrumEngagement.
Either way, every dynamic, personal and collective, accrues in society. We all navigate lives shaped by focuses which shift between self, those in our circle or realm, and the infrastructures which frame the context of the many realms within which we live. Our lives are also shaped by the perspectives of people in various realms, some of which are unfounded, even calculated, as projections. Some are not.
Society is the composite of interactions which flow from the context of our relationships.
Society is the platform upon which our lives flow.
It is different than a stage, because there is no backstage, with technicians, places where we are off stage, sets which will appear or have appeared for the show.
Society is there, always, on the platform, taking center “stage,” visible or unseen for the moment, but none the less part of the show.
This is similar to the platform upon which we load our apps, there waiting for us to bring them forward, or they may pop up in some mysterious or algorithm prompted manner.
Do any of us consider we are living a life that is “a process or set of rules to be followed?”
Free will or destiny. We are in transition in this conundrum.
Is there a set of rules…? Givens to be followed…?
The society which those of us in the United States navigate is itself transitional, seeking to fulfill its nature as a society:
From rules to be followed “By The People,”
To rules which are to be determined “By The People.”
As we look at our revealed society in each decade in which we live, we see the reality of people:
Looking to shape the rules – and –
Looking to have people shaped by the rules.
This is still what society is all about – the presumed or established “process or set of rules” which determines the methodology for decision making and problem solving.
So the question basic to “our” society:
Does everyone have the right to be on the platform?
Or is it a stage, with some actors on and some off stage, in the wings.
If it is the platform – We The People – All The People…
How do we bolster and sustain the platform so that it holds the full spectrum?
If it is a platform which sustains full SpectrumEngagement…
How do we prevent elbowing on the platform, as we all try to secure the benefit from the fruits of our society?
The blogs will further the exploration of each of these four categories.
